Today I am thinking about the definition of success. My grandfather who lived during the depression certainly had a different perspective. Because of their great sacrifice, we have enjoyed such great abundance. I wonder, what sacrifice are we making today so that our children might enjoy abundance? What is your definition of success? Ephesians 3:20 “God wants to bless you way beyond your imagination”.

This morning – my son says, “Mom, I need some help writing in my journal. I want to write a prayer to Jesus.” As I catch my breath, I try not to “over react” and just respond back to him. As he walks out of the room off to “write in the journal”, I experience such gratitude for being there for the moment. Talk about a heart moment.
